TrueCorner Privacy Policy
TrueCorner (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) helps athletes and coaches track training-related information such as body weight, nutrition, meal plans, competitions, and notes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Not medical advice
TrueCorner is a tracking and coordination tool. It does not provide medical, dietary, or clinical advice. For the full health and fitness disclaimer, see our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use TrueCorner, we may collect:
- Account information — such as email address, display name, and authentication credentials (managed through our auth provider).
- Profile and coaching data — athlete or coach role, coach–athlete connections, and join-code related information needed to link accounts.
- Health-adjacent and training data you enter — body weight logs, nutrition and food logs, meal plans and templates, competitions, calendar notes, and similar content you choose to save.
- Feedback and support content — messages you submit through in-app feedback, which may include app version and basic device context.
- Technical data — information needed to operate the service securely (for example session tokens and basic diagnostics if crash reporting is enabled).
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve TrueCorner features
- Authenticate accounts and protect against unauthorized access
- Enable coach–athlete collaboration when you choose to connect
- Respond to feedback and support requests
- Monitor reliability and fix crashes or errors
- Comply with legal obligations when required
We do not sell your personal information.
How information is shared
- Coaches and athletes you connect with — when an athlete links with a coach (for example by entering a join code), that coach may see athlete data needed for coaching, including body weight, nutrition and food logs, meal plans, competitions, weigh-ins, and notes, according to the App’s access rules. An athlete may be linked to more than one coach; each linked coach may see that athlete’s coaching-related data. Coaches do not see athletes they are not linked to. Disconnecting a link stops future access where the App allows; it does not automatically delete data already stored.
- Service providers — we use trusted infrastructure providers (for example authentication and database hosting) to run TrueCorner. They process data only to provide those services.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the App.
Data storage and security
Account and app data are stored with our cloud backend providers. We use access controls (including database row-level security policies) and industry-standard practices to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data retention
We retain account and app data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account in the App, we delete or de-identify associated data according to our deletion process, except where we must retain limited information for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Your choices
- You can update profile and logged data inside the App.
- You can disconnect coach–athlete links where the App allows.
- You can delete your account from Settings (Danger zone).
- You can contact us with privacy questions using the details below.
Children’s privacy
TrueCorner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International users
If you use TrueCorner from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in that country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the effective date. Continued use of TrueCorner after changes means you accept the updated policy.
